Your First Office Visit:

The first thing you will need to do is fill out our new patient paperwork. It can be downloaded here.  As soon as they are completed you will be moved into a private room for a consultation with one of the doctors.

If this is a Personal Injury case you will need these papers. If your injury is work related and will be turned into your employers workers compensation you will need therse papers.

The Consultation:

During your consultation with the doctor you will be asked questions about your health history, past accidents and injuries, your current health. We will also cover the pain and discomfort you are currently having including its type, area, and intensity as well as much more.

Your Chiropractic Exam:

The next step in becoming a new patient is a complete chiropractic exam including a full orthopedic and neurological examination. Surface EMG and thermography scans will allow us to see how your nerve system, what controls every function of the body, is working. Lastly, if necessary, X-rays will be taken to access any changes or damage to the bones of the spine. After the doctor reads the x-rays, notes any changes, and analyzes the areas that will need correction you will be ready for your first adjustment.

Your First Adjustment:

If there are no problems preventing you being checked your first adjustment will be given on this visit. An adjustment is a gentle procedure done with only the doctors hands to correct the changes that have taken place in the spine and caused your pain and discomfort.

Whats Next:

On your second visit to our office you will receive a report of our findings. Here the doctor will review your orthopedic and neurological findings, explain the surface emg and thermography scans, and go over the changes that have taken place in the structure of your spine. Once you understand what has happened the doctor will review their recommendations and treatment plan to get you out of pain as soon as possible, make a spinal correction after the pain is gone, and maintain that correction so the chances of the pain returning becomes remote.
